A brief introduction

About ACTOMANIA

Managing Committee of this Association have been organising several cultural projects through other multicultural organisations for more than 20 years. They are quite renowned for quality theatrical projects and have strong support from many other multicultural groups for an innovative project. Feedback sessions and Opinion Survey were conducted at the conclusion of those Cultural Projects. Almost all the years, there was strong feedback that innovative theatrical projects be undertaken with dedicated attention for quality production. Other groups have several other priorities and events and a theatrical production is not their main focus. Hence there was several requests to have a group which will produce innovative stage plays and create capacity among the young female and male talents to conceptualise and produce different theatres of non-traditional types.

Thus, ACTOMANIA was formed during late December 2019 comprising several professionals like Project Managers, Chartered Accountants, Engineers, Teachers, IT professionals, each of whom are also renowned actors, creative directors, singers, dancers, artists etc in their spare time. The Managing committee has strong capacity in delivering complex yet high quality cultural Projects within the deadline and allocated budget. These examples were set under the banner of other multicultural not-for-profit groups in Melbourne including in the City of Greater Dandenong for last years.

Due their involvement with other community groups for many years, strong support has been offered by several other associations in volunteering and active participation. The group has been incorporated during Dec 2019
